When can I participate?

Monadnock Madness is in full swing all March long! We have many hikes and events scheduled that you can see here. However, you don’t have to come on an official hike to earn a souvenir. Hike when you like and just follow the rules for requesting a souvenir. Keep in mind that rangers have odd hours and it may be difficult to get your passport and stamp if you choose to go on your own hike. It is important to remember that Arabia and Stone Mountain allow you to walk to their peaks whenever you like during normal park hours. However, you can only get to the top of Panola during a guided ranger hike.

How much does it cost?

Some of the hikes at Monadnock Madness are free for the public. A few of them require a parking fee and/or event fee. Please see our calendar for event times and prices. Please be aware that Stone Mountain has a $15 parking fee and Panola Mountain has a $5 parking fee.
