This class will be taught by Sandra Bonkiene and Shannon McKenna of Bakari Yoga Studio. Sandra is certified yoga teacher at the 500-hour level with therapeutic emphasis. In 2012 she became certified Classical Yoga Teacher (200 RYT) at Kashi Atlanta Urban Yoga Ashram. A few years later in 2014 she became certified in Yoga Therapy (300 RYT) at 7 Centers Yoga Arts in Sedona, Arizona. Sandra continuously studies the infinite wisdom of yoga with many different teachers. In 2014 she became certified in Thai Yoga Bodywork.
Shannon received her ryt-200 certification under the direction of Graham Fowler at Peachtree Yoga Center. Though her personal practice began prior to her training, it was there that she began to be aware of a new path that life was presenting her. A path of yogic studies, independence, exploration, and spiritual ambition. In addition to attending multiple workshops and classes herself, she has been teaching yoga in Atlanta for the past two years.
